As Arab-Chinese summit flashes, “Aldiplomasy” highlights the bilateral trade exchange between China and Arabs targeting COMMON DESTINATION

With the countdown to hold the first Arab-Chinese summit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in December 2022 to set a common destiny as a new historical starting point between China and the Arab countries in the new era, we monitor the volume of trade exchange between the parties to the summit according to international conventions, which It is likely to multiply against the background of the historical event, as follows:

* Egypt

In 2020, China exported $13.3B to Egypt. The main products that China exported to Egypt are Broadcasting Equipment ($751M), Non-Retail Synthetic Filament Yarn ($379M), and LCDs ($371M). During the last 25 years the exports of China to Egypt have increased at an annualized rate of 14.4%, from $463M in 1995 to $13.3B in 2020.

In 2020, Egypt exported $754M to China. The main products that Egypt exported to China were Crude Petroleum ($255M), Refined Petroleum ($132M), and Citrus ($75.5M). During the last 25 years the exports of Egypt to China have increased at an annualized rate of 17.9%, from $12.2M in 1995 to $754M in 2020

* Saudi Arabia

During the last 25 years the exports of China to Saudi Arabia have increased at an annualized rate of 15.3%, from $905M in 1995 to $31.8B in 2020.

Between September 2021 and September 2022 the exports of China have increased by $119M (34.2%) from $348M to $466M, while imports increased by $930M (88.3%) from $1.05B to $1.98B.

In 2020, Qatar exported $7.09B to China. The main products that Qatar exported to China were Petroleum Gas ($4.24B), Crude Petroleum ($1.41B), and Ethylene Polymers ($607M). During the last 25 years the exports of Qatar to China have increased at an annualized rate of 19.7%, from $78.3M in 1995 to $7.09B in 2020.

* Bahrain

In September 2022, China exported $118M and imported $1.02M from Bahrain, resulting in a positive trade balance of $117M. Between September 2021 and September 2022 the exports of China have increased by $18.5M (18.7%) from $99.4M to $118M, while imports decreased by $-23.5M (-95.8%) from $24.6M to $1.02M.

In 2020, Bahrain exported $135M to China. The main products that Bahrain exported to China were Refined Petroleum ($67.9M), Raw Aluminum ($52.8M), and Glass Fibers ($3.5M). During the last 25 years the exports of Bahrain to China have increased at an annualized rate of 8.85%, from $16.2M in 1995 to $135M in 2020.

* Kuwait

In 2020, China exported $4.26B to Kuwait. The main products that China exported to Kuwait are Broadcasting Equipment ($455M), Other Cloth Articles ($282M), and Iron Pipes ($213M). During the last 25 years the exports of China to Kuwait have increased at an annualized rate of 16%, from $105M in 1995 to $4.26B in 2020.

In 2020, Kuwait exported $9.8B to China. The main products that Kuwait exported to China were Crude Petroleum ($7.9B), Petroleum Gas ($544M), and Cyclic Hydrocarbons ($442M). During the last 25 years the exports of Kuwait to China have increased at an annualized rate of 19.8%, from $107M in 1995 to $9.8B in 2020.

* Iraq

The top exports of Iraq are Crude Petroleum ($45.2B), Gold ($7.98B), Refined Petroleum ($4.25B), Petroleum Coke ($424M), and Coal Tar Oil ($102M), exporting mostly to China ($17B), India ($14.4B), Turkey ($8.19B), South Korea ($3.78B), and United States ($2.85B).

The top imports of Iraq are Broadcasting Equipment ($3.33B), Refined Petroleum ($2.6B), Cars ($1.86B), Jewellery ($1.44B), and Packaged Medicaments ($996M), importing mostly from United Arab Emirates ($13.1B), China ($10.9B), Turkey ($9.14B), India ($1.46B), and Germany ($1.04B).

* Syria

In 2020, China exported $834M to Syria. The main products exported from China to Syria were Rubber Tires ($35M), Light Fixtures ($30.5M), and Non-Retail Synthetic Filament Yarn ($29.3M). During the last 25 years the exports of China to Syria have increased at an annualized rate of 6.94%, from $156M in 1995 to $834M in 2020.

Thus, for these Arab-Chinese statistics, it is clear that Chinese socialism has struck American capitalism with death, especially after the latter’s preoccupation with the so-called war on terror since September 11, 2001, and its defeats in Afghanistan, Iraq, and perhaps the next in Ukraine, in addition to the sharp decline in trust between Arabs and Americans. The impact of the lie of the Arab Spring..whether at the level of peoples or regimes..
