Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Cairo..Mr Alkhan Polukhov holds a celebration of the “Victory Day”

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Cairo celebrated the “Victory Day” tonight, amid presence of the media and the Azeri community in Egypt, especially the first celebration witnessed by the new Azerbaijani ambassador, Alkhan Polukhov, who assumed his duties at the end of last week.

 Regarding bilateral relations with Egypt, Polukhov said that the relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt are witnessing strengthening at all levels, and accordingly a promising future awaits the two countries.

 It is worth mentioning that Ambassador Polukhov was Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Brazil and before that to South Africa. Before that, he worked as an official spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
