On sidelines of Arab Ministers of Information, the Supreme Council of Media Regulation in Egypt (SCMRE) ohonored both the media writer Dr. Muhammad Al-Arimi, the head of the Omani Journalists Association, and the journalist Suleiman bin Ali Al-Maamri, and the program “Al-Mantadi Al-Ekhtiyet” for the broadcasting of the Sultanate of Oman as part of the Arab Media Excellence Award in the field of media development in its sixth edition.
In the celebration of the organization of the council recently in Salah al-Din Castle, on the sidelines of the meetings of the Arab media ministers, in the presence of the Arab media ministers and delegations participating in the meetings, as well as senior Egyptian and Arab journalists and journalists.
During the ceremony, the Chairman of the Council, Karam Jabr, gave the “Al-Rawad” award to 11 of the leading media people in the Arab world, namely Muhammad Al-Arimi from the Sultanate of Oman, Abdullah Al-Baqali from the Maghreb, Isa Al-Shayji from Bahrain, Nabeel Amr from Palestine, Muhammad Al-Hammadi from the Emirates, and Muayid Al-Lami. from Iraq, and Sadiq Muhammad Al-Amari from Qatar, and Khalid bin Hamad Al-Malek from Saudi Arabia, and Muhammad Hassan Suleiman Al-Dawoodieh from Jordan, and Youssef Maroun Al-Qasaifi from Lebanon, and Muhammad Selmawi from Egypt, for their journalistic and media contributions in the formation of awareness and knowledge, and the fight against extremist ideas and the destruction and defense of causes The nation and the issues of their Arab country and the Palestinian issue on their heads.
The writer and journalist Suleiman bin Ali Al-Maamri won the award for the best Arab media personality, who presented broadcasting initiatives that serve the goals of sustainable development, as well as the program “Al-Mentdi Al-Eqsiq” for broadcasting in the Sultanate of Oman.
