Minister Suha Gendy receives Mr Ambassador Osama Noqli to discuss how to enhance joint cooperation

Ambassador Suha Gendy: I suggest establishing a rapid mechanism from the concerned authorities in the two countries with the aim of taking care of the Egyptian and Saudi communities.
Ambassador Suha Gendy, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, received Ambassador Osama bin Ahmed Noqli, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Egypt, and Mr. Sultan Al-Subaie, Consul General, in the presence of Ambassador Amr Abbas, Assistant Minister of Immigration for Communities Affairs, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Suha Gendi welcomed Ambassador Osama bin Ahmed Naqli, and expressed the depth and strength of the Egyptian-Saudi relations and the joint historical and cultural ties that unite the two countries, praising the Kingdom’s role in caring for the Egyptian community present on its lands, and also stressing that the Saudi community in Egypt is in their second country.
The Minister of Immigration pointed out that the Egyptian community in Saudi Arabia is at the forefront of the ministry’s work files, as it is the largest in number among the rest of the Egyptian communities abroad, as it exceeds 2 million Egyptians. Overcoming any obstacles that the community may face, meeting any need or listening to any proposals that lead to a quick response, reflecting the strategic bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries, which was agreed with by the Ambassador, preferring that the mechanism be with the participation of the embassies of the two countries.
For his part, Ambassador Osama bin Ahmed Noqli, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Egypt, expressed his gratitude for meeting Ambassador Suha Gendy, and congratulated her on assuming the portfolio of the Ministry of Immigration, wishing her continued success and strengthening the existing and continuous cooperation frameworks.
Ambassador Nuqli praised the Egyptian-Saudi relations, describing them as having extended cultural roots and there are common customs and traditions that unite the two countries, stressing the efficiency and skill of the Egyptian workers present on Saudi lands, which spared no effort in actively participating in most of the projects undertaken by the Kingdom, which participate with an appreciable effort. In Saudi development projects that are witnessing unprecedented progress and expansion.
