Egypt wishes stability and prosperity for Yemeni people as another armistice flags again

Announcing the renewal of the armistice in Yemen for an additional two months issued by the United Nations by its Special Envoy for Yemen, Egypt welcomes the statement and expresses its appreciation for the efforts of the United Nations in this regard.

Egypt hopes that the extension of the truce will contribute to reaching a comprehensive settlement of the Yemeni crisis and support initiatives for a political solution, to preserve Yemen’s unity and capabilities of the brotherly Yemeni people and their aspirations for security, stability and prosperity.
