Minister of Islamic Affairs Inaugurates  “Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Devices” Project in the Mosques of Holy Sites

His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Ministry’s Works in Hajj, Umrah and Visitation, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, inaugurated the project of installing CPR devices in the mosques of the Holy Sites, in partnership with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, in the presence of the Authority’s President, Dr. Jalal bin Muhammad Al-Owaisi.

 The project, which was inaugurated by “Al-Sheikh”, aims to provide automatic external electric shock devices in the mosques of the Holy Sites for use by mosque employees who have undergone appropriate training quickly on patients who suffer from some heart problems until the ambulance arrives, which enhances the chances of survival. In the context of ensuring the safety and health of pilgrims.

 His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh confirmed in a statement after the inauguration ceremony that the project to install cardiac resuscitation devices in the mosques of the holy sites, comes in partnership with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority and coincides with the start of the Hajj season for this year, in the interest of health and safety Guests of the Most Merciful by harnessing all possibilities and means for their safety and comfort.

 His Excellency extended his heartfelt thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God preserve them – for the great care that Muslims receive in this blessed country at all levels. Whether to secure the means, health and emergency services, rations, medical and safety means, and people’s lives and security, he praised the efforts made by the various sectors of the state to secure the pilgrims and ensure their safety and security, which he described as a great task and honor that all loyal sons of the Kingdom compete for.

 For his part, the head of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority noted that the partnership with the ministry included the installation of devices and training of mosque employees and supervisors on the mechanism of dealing with these devices, a partnership that aligns with the visions and directives that the wise leadership aspires to in accordance with the vision.
