ATHM targets 150 mln beneficiaries of translating the sermon of Arafa into 10 international languages

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque aims, through the project of translating the Sermon of Arafa, to convey the message of the Two Holy Mosques (ATHM) in several languages to promote the values of tolerance and moderation in the world, in addition to reaching 150 million beneficiaries during this year’s Hajj season in ten global languages.
His Excellency the General President of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, confirmed that the presidency has prepared in advance with the latest international technical devices and systems to broadcast and translate the sermon of Arafa to all Muslims around the world in (10) different languages, which are (English, French, Malamiya, Urdu, Farsi, Russian, Chinese, Bengali, Turkish, Hausa), indicating that the project is the largest of its kind in the world to carry the message of tolerance and moderation from the land of peace, and a global qualitative leap to spread the message of the Islamic religion, in addition to its contribution to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 related to the Two Holy Mosques.
His Excellency stated that the sermon on the Day of Arafa is one of the sermons with important Islamic dimensions, as it carries the message of Islam based on tolerance, moderation and moderation, pointing out that the presidency succeeded last year to reach 100 million beneficiary people in the world.
For his part, the Deputy General President for Languages and Translation, Ahmed Al-Hamidi, explained that the presidency has developed an integrated plan for interpretation, in which it harnessed all its capabilities by using modern global technology to reach higher rates, and broadcast it to the Islamic world and all parts of the world, and to those interested and willing to listen to the sermon from non-Arabic speaking Muslims and non-Muslims.
