The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque represented by the General Administration of Guiding and Guiding Affairs provides many services to answer the questions of the pilgrims, with ten places inside the Grand Mosque and seven cabins in the courtyards to answer the questioners by phone, which is based on (100) eminent people, judges and faculty members. The Director General of the General Administration of Guidance and Guidance Affairs, Majid bin Muhammad Al-Masoudi, explained that the sheikhs base their answers on the questioners in accordance with the outputs of the symposium document (The Fatwa in the Two Holy Mosques and its Impact on Facilitating the Purposes), in issuing fatwas and answering the questioners on legal issues, and taking into account the style of discourse in The fatwa and its broadness, tolerance and the etiquette of disagreement among scholars, and avoiding the discourse of racism and hate.
Al-Masoudi added that in order to achieve the greatest benefit from modern technology and artificial intelligence, the Department of Guidance Affairs provided a guiding robot for pilgrims at the main entrances of the Mataf, and that the robot supports 11 languages: (Arabic, English, French, Russian, Persian, Turkish, Malay, Urdu, Chinese, Bengali, Hausa).
