Oman enjoys foreign investors’ confidence for the Sultanate’s international political, cultural, social and economic standards – Head of “Oman Vision 2040” Follow-up Unit

On the sidelines of the IFJ Congress 31 Congress, Dr. Khamis Al Jabri, Head of the Follow-up Unit for the Implementation of “Oman Vision 2040”, received a number of journalists participating in the IFJ Congress 31 Congress to learn about the future directions of the Oman 2040 Vision and the national programs that have been launched.
Following a comprehensive presentation by the unit in charge of the unit, discussions took place with the head of the unit about monitoring the negative aspects of some countries in investment and addressing these negatives with encouraging incentives such as the freedom to transfer capital to the investor if he wants to transfer his investments outside the Sultanate of Oman after 25 years of tax exemption.
However, the “diplomat” had reservations about this procedure for the reason that the Omani citizen did not benefit from the investor in this case, and demanded a reconsideration of such a procedure for the benefit of the country and the people.
The diplomat also demanded to re-edit the names of the ministries, one of which numbered eleven words, for example, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries, etc. 
Also confirmed by Dr. Khamis Al-Jabri that the Sultanate of Oman enjoys greatly in the confidence of foreign investors due to the stability the country is witnessing and distinguished international relations.
