Saudi Arabia wins 6 medals at the 2022 Balkan Mathematical Olympiad

The Saudi sports team took the podium at the 2022 Balkan Mathematical Olympiad in Cyprus, after winning six (6) medals “5 silver and one bronze”, with the participation of 93 students, representing 16 countries.
Silver medals were awarded to: Muhammed Al-Dubaisi and Mahdi Al-Baik from Eastern Education, Moaz Al-Ghamdi and Marwan Al-Khayyat from Makkah Al-Mukarramah Education, and Hadi Al-Aithan from Al-Ahsa Education, while Ali Al-Ramadan from Eastern Education won the bronze medal, raising the Saudi team’s score during his participation. In the Olympics to 45 medals.
For his part, His Excellency the Secretary-General of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, Dr. Saud Al-Mathami, praised this new national achievement, which was achieved by the grace of God Almighty, and then with the support of the wise leadership – may God support it – for the sons of the country, which resulted in this uniqueness in international forums, congratulating the students and their families And their schools and teachers for the achievement, wishing them further success.
Dr. Al-Mathami stressed that this victory is added to the series of successive achievements of the talented sons and daughters of the country, and reflects the concerted efforts between “Mawhiba” and its partners, to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, praising the capabilities of the country’s male and female students, and their many achievements at the international level, and representing the Kingdom in representation. befitting its position, which will contribute to building the nation’s future and enhancing its human wealth.
It is worth noting that the Kingdom achieved this year the fourth place among the participating countries, for the first time in the history of the 9 previous participations in this competition.
