Ambassador of KSA participates in inauguration of IAHS at Al-Ahram Art Gallery

Today, Monday, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Naqli, participated in inauguration of of the seventh session of the International Art House Salon (IASH), at Al-Ahram Art Hall at Al-Ahram Press Foundation, in the presence of Gamal El-Din El-Sayed, President of the International House of Art, and Dr. Samir Saad El-Din, Head of the Photography Department at the Academy Arts, as a representative of Dr. Ghada Jubara, President of the Academy.
The exhibition will be launched under the title “Business Art Exhibition” during the period from 22 to 25 November, sponsored by the Academy of Arts, with the participation of a group of plastic artists from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine and Mexico, displaying more than 100 artworks in all fields of plastic arts.
The Saudi participation enriches the exhibition with the works of 5 plastic artists, headed by one of the pioneers of the plastic movement in the Kingdom, Dr. Ahmed Al-Salamah, and the artists: Maria Mokhtar, Dima Abdullah Al-Asai, Aisha Muhammad Asiri and Mervat Zaki Kawas.
Ambassador Osama Naqli praised the exhibition, which brings together a large number of artists who form various Arab plastic schools, pointing out that the participation of 5 Saudi artists with their distinguished artworks reflects the state of tangible artistic movement in the plastic art sector in the Kingdom in recent years in particular, and the Saudi cultural scene in general. Thanks to the great care and support that the Saudi plastic movement has received through Vision 2030.
It is worth noting that the exhibition is open to the public and art connoisseurs throughout its opening days.
