Embodying the past pains and sufferings of the people of the Karabakh region by the hands of the Armenian colonialists, and dreams of the victorious region of Karabakh and its components at the hands of the brave Azerbaijani soldiers, and returning back again to the arms of Baku, “Aldiplomasy” monitors a new publication by Dr. Emil Rahimov issued by Middle East Media Foundation to record what Azerbaijan has experienced in its modern and contemporary history.
The story of a people who faced the worst types of aggression and occupation, yet they remained steadfast and strong in the face of all those threats and challenges, while maintaining at the same time their sovereignty, independence and the prestige of their state.
The Azerbaijani people are a people who have contributed a lot to the creation of human civilization with their scholars, thinkers and researchers specialized in various fields of knowledge. They are a peaceful people who reject war, and aggression, strive for peace, security and stability, raise the level of freedom and human dignity, contribute to achieving global prosperity and regional peace.
But the truth in some cases, that the pursuit of peace and the establishment of its bases and foundations will only come through war, especially if waging this war imposed on the party always calling for peace.
This clearly applies to the recent war that Azerbaijan fought in response to military provocations by Armenia in the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan nearly thirty years ago. During that long period, Armenia refused to respond to any international or regional initiatives aimed at bringing peace to the South Caucasus by withdrawing from Azerbaijani lands In compliance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, and the resolutions of various international and regional organizations that demanded Armenia respect international resolutions and rules of international law.
It goes without saying that instead of Armenia responding to international resolutions, submitting to legal rules, adhering to the principles of good neighborliness and respecting the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of its geographical neighbourhood, Armenia continued its aggression against Azerbaijani lands.
That aggression that was repeated during the past year twice; The first was in July 2020, when the Azerbaijani armed forces managed to repel their aggression, but Armenia failed to achieve its goal of aggression, and then thst aggression was repeated again on September 27 of the same year, despite what the world was facing that year from the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, as Armenia didn’t consider the repercussions of the outbreak of this pandemic and its dangers that threatened the whole world, thus Armenians acted such as worms towards its neighbors.
History is recorded in this new issue pages since the first independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the 1920s, as well as in its second independence in the 1990s, Armenia’s exploitation of circumstances to carry out its aggression and tried to repeat today, taking advantage of the circumstances of the Covid 19 pandemic.
However, the Azerbaijani armed forces were at the height of their readiness, not only to stop that aggression, but also to liberate their occupied lands. Azerbaijan has succeeded in achieving a military victory. Various military academies and military experts all over the world testify what has been achieved reflects the vision of a leader, the valor of a soldier and the steadfastness of the people, with regional and international support for Azerbaijan to restore its occupied lands in implementation of international resolutions that give the legal legitimacy and political legitimacy of the Azerbaijani state to take the necessary measures. It sees it as a means to stop the aggression and restore the occupied land.
This is the story of the Azerbaijani struggle against the Armenian aggression, the events of which are recorded in the book, which the author has the honor to put in the hands of the reader, to stand on the reality of the conditions that Azerbaijan experienced over the course of not only the forty-four days of the last war battle, but over the course of about thirty years during which Azerbaijan took all means of progress and science in order to build a strong state capable of protecting its lands and extending its independence over its entire territory.
