President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with Minister of State for Military Production Engineer Mohamed Ahmed Morsy, Commander of the Air Force Lieutenant General Mohamed Abbas Helmy, Presidential Advisor for Urban Planning Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed and Presidential Advisor for Financial Affairs Major General Mohamed Amin.
According to presidency, The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that, during the meeting, they addressed the latest developments on the implementation status of “Egypt’s Future” Project. The President was briefed on the stages of work of the project in El-Dabaa region, which aims to maximize agricultural production of main crops by reclaiming and planting parts of the Western Desert, provide many direct and indirect employment opportunities, and offer promising opportunities for encouraging agricultural investment in that region.
In this context, the President emphasized on strengthening coordination and cooperation between the various competent authorities to successfully carry out “Egypt’s Future” Project and implement it in accordance with the highest standards as part of the state’s efforts to develop the agricultural production sector and the related food and agricultural industries. Hence, this major project will bring significant added value to the national projects in the field of agriculture and food nationwide.
