27 July – UK Foreign Secretary spoke to Foreign Minister Shoukry in a phone call on Friday evening.
The two ministers discussed the latest regional affairs, including the Grand Ethiopian Dam, the latest developments in Libya, and the Middle East Peace Process.
Recent weeks have seen intensified coordination between the two countries across a range of issues, including regional security, trade, and joint efforts to tackle the global coronavirus pandemic.
