The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continued its international humanitarian leadership by placing its mark this time in German hospitals, through the participation of more than 650 Saudi doctors working in German hospitals, along with their German colleagues, to combat the spread of the Corona virus emerging under the umbrella of the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Berlin.

The cultural attaché of the Saudi embassy in Germany, Dr. Munir bin Mutni Al-Otaibi, affirmed that the Kingdom shares the world’s efforts to combat the Corona virus epidemic, stressing that the participation of German doctors, students and medical students dispersed to fight the virus is an extension of the Kingdom’s efforts to extend a helping hand to the world, indicating that the people of the homeland always make sacrifices and strive to reflect the wonderful image of the Saudi citizen, especially in exceptional circumstances such as the world is currently living with the crisis of the Corona virus.

For his part, Director of Academic Affairs of the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Germany, Dr. Waseem Asaad Arfali, said that in light of the global pandemic Corona, the Cultural Attaché in Germany is proud of its students who are scholarship through their humanitarian contribution together with their German colleagues in providing health care to German patients and others, and that Through their presence on the front lines in the major hospitals and specialized clinics, in order to achieve the dictates of their honor of the profession, religious duty, work ethics and the human principles they were brought up with.

He explained that this human scene is not uncommon for the sons and daughters of the Kingdom, and he said: “This initiative will be decisive in developing their careers and raising their readiness for effective work with dedication to face crises of all kinds besides training them in more than 36 specializations in the fields of medicine including emergency medicine and epidemics.” . He praised the position of the Saudi doctors that reflects the most magnificent images of solidarity at this difficult time regarding the spread of the dangerous virus, pointing out that this initiative is not individual or elitist among the sons of the Kingdom of doctors, but rather reflects the values, ethics and principles of the Saudi Arab Islamic society that confirm that these blessed countries are a kingdom Humanity.
