As a result of the interest of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, the construction of a new building, constructed in the modern architectural style of Azerbaijan, has ended. And in implementation of the President’s directive, it will provide the new building with the latest modern technology and information one, as well as creating work conditions in accordance with international standards.

Azerbaijan has developed and constituted AZERTAC/G as a government news agency affiliated with the name of Heydar Aliyev, the popular general leader. AZERTAC/G inscribed its name in the history of the world press with its chairmanship on both of the mentioned institutions during the period 2016-2019 as follows:
* Azerbaijan has signed a cooperation agreement with about 50 foreign news agencies and exchanges information with about 150 news agencies
* AZERTAC/G presided over the World News Agencies and Asia-Pacific News Agencies Conference in 2016-2019.
* Every day, it broadcasts about 700 news, videos and illustrated news through its channels in 8 languages.
* It activates 5 electronic sources, two electronic services, 3 applications for smart phones, and a special source for the visually impaired.
* It has more than 30 social media accounts.
* During 2019, the demand for information resources via mobile devices increased by 50% and watching videos by 75 percent.
* And 83 percent of watching videos on YouTube channels came from the mobile devices share.
* I took a remake in 2010 in the application of the video news preparation room for the first time and the agency is currently broadcasting video news in five languages which are Azerbaijani, English, Russian, French and German.
* 360 degree videos, infographic, animation, and graphic video.
* The number of watched news, photos, and videos of the agency broadcast on electronic resources and accounts on social networks and portals of international media organizations that are affiliated with Azerbaijan, has increased by 73%.
* It has 21 correspondent offices in foreign countries.
* Some 15,000 news, videos and pictures made by Azerbaijan are broadcast on the websites of international and regional media organizations that are located in Azerbaijan, as well as national news agencies cooperate with them.
