kingfut – Egypt international Mohamed Elneny has been left out of Arsenal’s travelling squad to face FC Barcelona in the Joan Gamper trophy.
The Gunners will face La Liga champions FC Barcelona in the 2019 Joan Gamper trophy at the Camp Nou on Sunday, August 4 at 20:00 CLT.
The game is considered to be their final test ahead of the new season as Unai Emery’s men will open their campaign with a trip to Newcastle on Sunday, August 11.
Emery’s 21-man squad for the Barcelona game saw the exclusion of Egypt’s Mohamed Elneny amid rumours he’s set to quit the club.
Club record signing Nicolas Pepe also didn’t make the trip as well as Alexandre Lacazette, who picked up a minor injury against Lyon last week.
