To host 1,000 Sudanese pilgrims – Custodian of 2 holy mosques

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has hosted 1,000 pilgrims from the Republic of Sudan to perform Hajj for the year 1440H. The program is hosted by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah and Guidance.

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah and Guidance, General Supervisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh, said that the pilgrims are represented by 500 pilgrims and members of the Sudanese army to restore hope within the Arab coalition forces in support of legitimacy in Yemen, and other 500 of the general Sudanese people.

He said that this honorable directive reflects the feelings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, of the Islamic and Arab brotherhood towards the dear Sudanese people in general and the appreciation and loyalty of the brotherly Sudanese forces to support their brothers in Yemen on the legitimacy of the Houthi militias backed by Iran.

He added that this hosting comes in the context of the ongoing attention and care provided by the leaders of this country for everything that serves Muslims and defend their issues.

Al-Sheikhpointed out that the ministry has taken all its readiness to implement the honorable guidance, and to alert all its competent departments to be responsible and trust entrusted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to carry out this hosting in order to achieve the aspirations and visions of the Saudi leadership in the service of Islam and Muslims.
