In accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation started on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.distribute 40 thousand baskets of food items on Egyptian poorest villages to ease the financial burden on these families, and to bring joy in their hearts in the holy month.
The foundation confirmed that Ramadan baskets are distributed by 1,400 baskets in Halaib and Shalatin areas, 2800 in North and South Sinai, and 34600 in the governorates of Aswan, Luxor, Qena, Sohag, Assiut, New Valley, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Beheira, Kafr El – Sheikh, Dakahlia, And the number of 1200 Ramadan baskets for the oases.
The Foundation pointed out that it has recently succeeded in providing distinguished and extended charitable services affecting the living conditions of unable groups in many Egyptian villages. This activity included the provision of small and micro-development projects of cattle heads, grocery stalls, etc. to help them secure a stable source of income In addition to supporting the needs of the poorer villages of public services as much as possible.
The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has succeeded in organizing a number of ready-made clothing exhibitions in which these clothes are distributed free of charge to orphaned children, and thousands of blankets have been distributed in which two blankets for each family. Treatment trips from poorer villages and remote ones to the nearest university hospitals and advanced therapeutic institutions, support for heart surgery and cardiopulmonary catheterization of all ages, as well as the delivery of clean drinking water and electricity to a large number of homes, esp. dilapidated ones that refounded by roofs.
