Sultan Qaboos & British Foreign Minister Discuss Bilateral Relations Including “firm friendship” declaration

Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman, received the British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt.

During the meeting, they discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries in the context of their close relations and issues of mutual interest between the two sides.

In Muscat, “a joint declaration of friendship was signed between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.”

The announcement was signed by Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, minister of foreign affairs, and Jeremy Hunt.
