The chief editor and the all staff of “aldiplomasy.com” with its two editions Arabic/English feel so sad for the bad news of the accident near NIZWA early morning today and wish speedy recovery for the injured and faithful condolences for the death.
According to colleague “Times of Oman”, one person died while seven others, including female students, were injured after a bus overturned and collided with another vehicle.
The accident, Royal Oman Police said, took place near Nizwa earlier today (January 3). A spokesperson for the Royal Oman Police told Times of Oman, “The crash occurred at 6:30 am, when a bus carrying female college students overturned, leading it to collide with another vehicle. The driver of the vehicle lost his life and the bus driver suffered serious injuries.
“There are six other injuries ranging between mild to medium. The injured were taken to the closest hospital,” the spokesperson added.
