Loza discusses developing joint cooperation with officials of WFP as Egypt heads AU Feb. 2019

Ambassador Hamdi Sanad Loza, Deputy Minister for African Affairs, received Stalake Samkange, Director of WFP’s Strategic Support and Coordination Department, Angelline Rudakubana, Representative of the World Food Program Office to the African Union in Addis Ababa, Chris Toe, Adviser to the WFP Strategic Coordination Office, Hayley is Resident Representative and Country Director of the World Food Program in Cairo.
The meeting discussed means of developing cooperation with the World Food Program in Egypt and means of activating the letter of intent to be signed on the sidelines of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the program in Cairo, which aims to establish a joint cooperation platform between the Egyptian government and the World Food Program and exchange experiences between the activities of the program in Egypt and other African countries.
loza stressed the great interest that the political leadership attaches to strengthening and developing cooperation with the various countries of the continent, especially with Egypt assuming the presidency of the African Union starting in February 2019.
