To enhance investment, Aboul Gheit participates in the Digital Economy Conference in UAE

The Secretary General of the League of Arab States (LAS) Ahmed Aboul Gheit participates in the Digital Economy Conference in UAE headed to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to participate in the Arab Digital Economy Conference, which will be held on 16 and 17 December under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Speaking to the invitation of the UAE leadership to participate in the opening of this conference, Ambassador Mahmoud Afifi, Spokesman for the Secretary-General, said that the Arab League is keen to support the plans for digital transformation and technological development in the Arab countries by mobilizing the available expertise and capabilities. And to unleash the potentials of various Arab countries in order to cope with the qualitative and rapid changes witnessed by the structure of the modern economy at the international level.
The conference will be attended by a large number of Arab and international experts and academics, as well as senior officials from regional and international institutions and organizations concerned with the conference. The conference is expected to produce recommendations and practical results that enhance investment opportunities in the region’s digital transformation.
