The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in the activities of the 6th session of the ‘Bokra Ahla’ (tomorrow better) Forum for Special Needs organized by the Cultural Development Fund Sector of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture at Al-Hanager Center for Arts and opened on Monday by Dr. Fathi Abdel Wahab.
The Kingdom’s participation in the Forum was represented by three Saudi talents. All thanked the leadership and the Government of the Kingdom for sponsoring the special abilities of human beings and supporting them in allowing them to participate and represent the Kingdom in foreign exhibitions.
The first talent is the novelist Alham Ben Ali Al Harthy, who wrote a part of her new book, “Aaqati Sir Liqati” (my disability is my source of progress), which includes a story of suffering for a situation of people with special abilities, through which Al Harthy sent two messages. The first is a message of thanks and motivation for people with special abilities, The second is a message to society to accept and support.
The second talent is the plastic artist Intisar Bint Ibrahim Al Hadlaq, who participated in two artistic paintings in the art exhibition. She called for expanding Saudi participation to include nominations from the deaf. She thanked the Egyptian government for this forum.
The third talent is the photojournalist Amal Bint Abdul Aziz Abu Humaid, who confirmed through her photographic participation that disability is not an excuse to stop achieving dreams, but an opportunity that must be well invested to create its owner, leaving a beautiful impact and lasting imprint in the minds and hearts of all.
The forum will be held with the participation of a number of Arab countries including Oman, Morocco, Libya and Egypt, in the fields of plastic arts, theater, music, singing, poetry, short stories.
