The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Cairo and the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the League of Arab States, Osama bin Ahmed Naqli, toured the corridors of the Alaa Foundation for People with special abilities on Tuesday morning to inspect the conditions of his children.
During the tour, the ambassador visited the centers of rehabilitation, training and residential accommodation for students, in addition to the facilities of the institution such as horse stables, swimming pools, football fields, medical clinic, and know the nature of rehabilitation and training activities for each case.
He also met the parents of the students and listened to their observations. At the end of the visit, the employees of the foundation performed a mini-presentation in which the Saudi students reviewed their talents and speech skills in addition to carrying out the craft and technical work including citizens of different ages and stages of study, and plans and programs provided to them.
He expressed his thanks to the Director of the foundation and its officials and members of the training commission, and praised the cultural attaché, and the important role played by the follow-up of the conditions of the staff of the Institute of Saudi citizens and support them, stressing that the World Day for people with special abilities is one of the outstanding days in the world, a class dear to our hearts, and must stand by them in all areas of education and training.
At the end of the visit, the management of the Alaa Foundation honored the ambassador of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Cairo and gave him the shield of the foundation.
During the visit, the ambassador was accompanied by Dr. Khalid Al Nami, Saudi Cultural Attaché, Mr. Sultan Al Harbi, head of the media section of the embassy, and Ms. Mona Shaddad, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.
