Ministry of Information in Oman issued its annual book “Oman 2018”, which included eleven topics that highlighted the achievements of the Omani Renaissance process under the leadership of Sultan Qaboos bin Said in various governorates of the Sultanate as part of the Sultanate’s celebrations of the 48th National Day.
* Wisdom of Sultan Qaboos!
These topics are “the wisdom of the leader to set clear landmarks for Omani diplomacy”, “modern state institutions”, “an integrated judicial system that strengthens the state of institutions”, “tolerance is a consistent approach to the Omani personality”, “Oman Council” And “security is a cornerstone of growth and prosperity”, “developmental achievements and future aspirations”, “heritage, culture and arts, windows for Oman’s cultural face” and “the logistics sector is an essential foundation for economic diversification”, “economic development” and “modern facilities and a pure environment”.
* Ambitions and aspirations of Omani citizens!
The chapters of the book have been excerpted from the words of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who speaks about the development and construction process that is entering new stages towards the further development of modern state institutions to meet the requirements of continuous economic and social progress and to respond to the ambitions and aspirations of Omani citizens in the second decade of the twenty-first century.

The annual Oman Book monitors the projects and achievements that have been achieved in the Sultanate and is a reference for the media, researchers, students and those interested in the Omani affairs. The Ministry of Information will distribute it to the Sultanate’s embassies abroad to introduce the Sultanate and its tourism, economic and cultural components.
The work is in the final stages of completion of the book version in English with the acceleration of the pace of work to complete the issue in French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian and Urdu language is available on the website of the Ministry of Information.
