Emigration & education discuss arrangements of “Egypt Can” 4 held next Dec.

The Minister of Migration, ambassador Nabila Makram and Dr. Tarek Shawki, Minister of Education, and Dr. Mohamed El Tayeb, Assistant Minister of Higher Education for Scientific Research discussed the arrangements for the 4th Egypt conference.
Both of Dr. Tarek Shawki and Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher praised the efforts exerted in developing the education system, stressing the support of the Ministry of Immigration for the new education strategy and the extraordinary efforts that will affect the future of the country by creating a new generation across a modern vision that keeps pace with global progress.
Ambassador Nabila Makram pointed out that the ministry received nominations from experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Higher Education. The latter also participated in defining the axes of higher education and scientific research, pointing out that the meeting today is a continuation of the meetings of the joint organizing committee between the three ministries to finalize the agenda of the conference, Invited by our experts and scholars at home and abroad to participate in the conference.
She explained that the conference is scheduled to be held in December, stressing that this conference comes in line with the announcement by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi that the year 2019 year of education, to prepare for a year where the issues of building the mind of the human agenda of the state.
The three ministries aim to support the government’s efforts to develop the pre-university and university education system to meet the local and international needs of the labor market, and to use the Egyptian minds and experts abroad and discuss the possibility of implementing their ideas and experiences in the development plan. Professional level as well as the mechanisms of practical dissemination and the role of our experts abroad in supporting the ranking of Egyptian universities internationally.
The Minister of Immigration stressed that the organization of this conference comes within the framework of the Egyptian state’s approach to benefiting from our immigrant minds abroad and integrating their experiences within Egypt’s strategy of building the Egyptian human 2030, which invests the genius of the place and the human to achieve sustainable development.
For his part, Dr. Tarek Shawki, Minister of Education and Technical Education praised the efforts of Ambassador Nabila Makram in supporting joint files with other ministries and her choice to be the “Egypt can” conference in its fourth edition on education, praising the idea of the conference launched by the Minister of Immigration in December 2016.
Shawki pointed out that the conference is a starting point for the year of education announced by the President, which will include a number of international and local representatives, noting that “Egypt can with learning” an important opportunity to discuss the new education project and discuss their proposals based on international expertise in providing solutions to the challenges facing the project.
Shawki also affirmed his full support and welcomed the cooperation with the Ministries of Immigration and Higher Education to maximize the benefit of the upcoming conference of Egyptians at home and abroad, pointing out that the conference is a good opportunity to be invested to inform the world of Egypt’s successful steps in the development and advancement of education.
It is worth mentioning that the “Egypt Can” conferences are the result of the efforts of the Ministry of State for Migration and the affairs of Egyptians abroad, to link Egyptian experts to the displaced in their motherland, and to integrate their expertise into Egypt’s strategy and to make the most of it at the national level.
