Pantone® Color of the Year Speaks to the Neffos Style
AETOS Wire – Pantone®, the world’s authority in color standardization, announced the 2018 Color of the Year as ultra violet. With this announcement, smartphone innovator Neffos®, the smartphone company founded by TP-Link, solidifies its trailblazing style and forward-thinking attitude, sharing the same fashion sense as the world has indicated for the new year.
Pantone LLC is the world’s authority in color standardization, achieving universal communication among industries, countries and cultures. Since the year 2000, Pantone has announced the color to signal each coming year. With the choice of ultra violet, Pantone sets the stage for a global trend, dazzling fashion the runways of Moschino, Marc Jacobs and more. In music, the iconic funk artist Prince used this electric hue as a symbol, embodied by raw guitar licks and androgynous appeal.
“A dramatically provocative and thoughtful purple shade, PANTONE 18-3838 Ultra Violet communicates originality, ingenuity, and visionary thinking that points us toward the future,” explains Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.
These words tie perfectly into the Neffos mission to provide incredibly simple and truly smart mobile devices to all users. With the slogan of “Stylish and Reliable,” this manufacturer sets and raises the bar of intuitive, attractive phones with every offering, the latest of which being the powerful, fast and portable X1 and upcoming N1.
Built from a dual-curved back metallic cover, the Neffos X1 achieves the perfect balance of dynamic shape and gentle feel. Ultrathin 2.75mm edges and a 0.6mm chamfer let the X1 slide easily into your hand, pocket or bag. A priority in design has always been symmetry, which is demonstrated in the symmetrical layout of the microphone and external speakers, as well as the positioning of the rear fingerprint sensor. These design features have allowed Neffos to win over a global audience as a stylish, understated device for all-day use.
Following the success of the X1, the upcoming N1 brings a modern, sleek look that embodies the next step in the Neffos evolution. Its ultra-slim 7.4mm metal unibody integrates its 2.5D glass and a diamond-cut mute button, demonstrating laser precision. To achieve this daring look, this latest smartphone was crafted through 100 processes, including CNC cutting and carving, nano molding, 360° polishing, 3D abrasive blasting and anodizing. Altogether, the N1 presents an exciting future for the smartphone company.
With the future in mind, this begs the question, “Will we see a Neffos Ultra Violet smartphone next?” Only time will tell!
